I’ve been sitting with this for a while.

You can’t stop someone from copying your work. And you also can’t stop yourself from feeling affected by it.

I created my collection of Irish landmarks in my own fantasy style, with freehand dot mandalas around them. That idea came from me. From my head, my hands, my heart. And I’m really proud of it.

So yes… seeing it being copied doesn’t feel good. I won’t pretend it doesn’t.

I’m not going to name anyone. This isn’t about calling someone out. It’s just about saying — it’s not right.

But someone I really admire once said to me, “A person can steal your work, but nobody can steal your creativity.”

And that stayed with me.

Because creativity doesn’t belong to one piece. It doesn’t end with one collection. It keeps moving. It keeps evolving.

I can’t control what anyone else does. But I can choose what I create next.

And honestly… I feel like something new is waiting for me.

To everyone who has supported me and followed my journey — thank you. Truly. It means more than you probably realise.

You have to visit this landmark to actually feel its energy & the powers of stories it holds. I had such an amazing time when I went there before painting it.

I first draw the landmarks, I like to paint landmarks especially their scenery in my own fantasy style & then i paint my freehand Dot Mandala around it making it a statement piece. As I paint my Dot Mandala freehand I don’t have any template to follow which makes all the artwork super unique & they can’t be made again in the same way even if I wish to 💕

I have so many artworks which I painted in Q4 of 2025 that I haven’t posted yet. This is one of them ☺️

This painting is celebrating “The Hook Head Lighthouse” in county Wexford of Ireland 🇮🇪 It is one of the oldest operating lighthouse in the world. Sea dip in -2 degrees temp on New Year morning 🥹
I couldn’t sleep for the whole night - my mind was constantly debating, will I be strong enough to do it? Am I going to say No like every year while waking up in the morning? There were so many questions, as I am not the adventurous type 😬

But when Nishant woke me up in the morning saying, Anku let’s go for the sea dip, I just took a moment & started getting ready. I said to myself I am not going to think anything & just go for it.

Not going to lie, it wasn’t easy but people there were so supportive… I couldn’t feel my toes for an hour after the dip 😜 but I am so so glad I did it 🤩 Moments like this, where I can say I am proud of you Anku ❤️❤️❤️

This is the part no one sees — the “after.”
The quiet house, the tired body, and a big mess waiting for me. This behind-the-scenes moment after an event can feel lonely and overwhelming, but it’s a real part of being an artist.

I’ve just finished Gifted, the biggest Christmas fair in Ireland — my first time there. After five long days at the event and weeks of preparing, I’ve come home to this mess. It was tiring, but also really humbling in a beautiful way.

I learned so much about how to prepare better, present my work, and keep growing. I met so many talented people, saw amazing art, and had moments that made me reflect on my own work in a positive way. And the support I received truly meant a lot — people were kind, curious, and very encouraging.

This year showed me that growth isn’t always smooth. Trying new things brings new challenges, but it also brings new learnings. And I’m proud of myself for showing up and putting my work out there.

I’m done with events for the year, and I’ll announce my first workshop for 2026 soon. For now, I’m giving myself a well-deserved break.

My website is still open, and I’ll be posting orders until the 18th of December — prints, tote bags, originals, card bundles — with free delivery in Ireland.

Now it’s time to slowly clean up, decorate my home, bake muffins, watch Christmas movies, and rest.
I really need this rest — and I deserve it.
